Secure Digital Memory in a Hand-Held Unit

The first line of hand-held units to offer secure digital memory capabilities, significantly expanding flash memory capacity for storing and downloading data. All are waterproof and have 16 MB of extensive, built-in U.S. map data. Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) delivers better than 3m accuracy. Rugged, ergonomic design features a large screen for easier viewing.
Specifications: Pocket-sized units are comfortable to carry and durable enough to withstand all weather conditions. Rubber armor is waterproof. Grayscale, backlit display and keypad are easy to see in all lighting conditions. Quadrifilar helix antenna is the best for high-quality satellite signal reception and fast position fixes. Meridian Gold provides a 16 MB U.S. database of maps for interstate highways, state highways, major roads, parks, waterways, airports, cities and more. Meridian Platinum offers the same features as Meridian Gold plus a barometer and a three-axis digital compass. Meridian Marine is waterproof to IPX-7 and floats. Meridian Color has a 120 x 160 pixel, 16 color display that’s easy to read outdoors. Both Marine and Color units have the same features as the Gold unit. Use the USB Serial Adaptor to convert the DB-9 connection on Magellan data cable accessories to USB connection. Download detailed map information into any of the Meridian GPS Systems using a MapSend^® CD-ROM. BlueNav^™ CD-ROM contains all local area charts within a continental region. Both Gold and Platinum units measure 6.1"H x 2.7"W x 1.2"D. Marine and Color units measure 8.75"H x 6"W x 2.75"D.
