Kidde AC-Wired Smoke Alarm with Battery Back-Up

With Friendly Features for the Installer and the End UserContractors and electricians love the quick-connect wiring pigtail for fast and easy connections and upgrades. You’ll appreciate the front-load battery door because you can replace the battery without removing the entire alarm.
Specifications: A unique safety feature of the AC-Wired Smoke Alarms with Battery Back-Up is that the battery door will not close if the battery is missing or installed incorrectly. Other friendly features include alarm memory, tamper resistance, smart interconnect, battery pull tab and dust cover. The alarm memory indicates the originating alarm with a flashing green light and also shuts down the memory if there is no AC power. Tamper resistance prevents unsafe tampering by locking the alarm to its base and/or locking the battery door. (No additional components are necessary for either option.) Smart interconnect allows up to 24 Kidde devices to be connected on one wiring system. Battery pull tab prevents battery drain until AC power is connected. Dust covers protect the ionization sensor from dust during construction. Compliance: UL listed.
