How do I increase my font size?
There are two ways to view LSS.com with a larger font size. The first way is to
change your browser font default size. The second way is to change your
computer's screen resolution to 800 x 600. Both ways will affect the way
you view all pages, not just ours.
Changing font size in AOL browser:
- Click on the My AOL toolbar button
- Select Preferences
- Select WWW
- Then follow the directions below for Internet Explorer.
To increase the default font size of Internet Explorer:
- Go to the View menu
- Click on Text Size or Fonts
- Select Larger or Largest
To increase the default font size of Netscape Communicator:
- Go to the View menu
- Select Increase Font
The keyboard shortcut command for this is Ctrl+[
Or you can:
- Go to the Edit menu
- Select Preferences
- Go to the Appearance -> Fonts Category
- On the line that says Variable Width Font,
set the size to 18 or
20.
How do I look at products?
You won't need to go through a complicated registration process to
look at the Lab Safety Supply (LSS) catalog! Pick from one of three easy
methods to look at products in our online offering:
- Just click on a section in the left navigation bar from the home page. This will take
you directly into our catalog, within whatever section you chose. You can click through
the drill-down menus, clicking on each link offered to go to the product level.
- Use our search engine. We've got a new, improved search engine that will find the
products you need quickly and easily from every page on our site, just type as much or as
little information as you know. You'll be able to view products right from the search
results page - just click on the link. If you are entering a product
number enter it exactly as it appears in the catalog - dashes are okay (ex.
3BB-12345).
- Click on the Products button, located on the top navigation
bar, from anywhere on our site.

How do I set up an account?
Is this your first time ordering with LSS? Simply by placing an order,
an account will automatically be set up for your company. We may contact you for additional
credit information.
If you would like to set up an account before placing an order, simply give us your Dunn
& Bradstreet number or three credit references.
However, this does not mean your order must be placed "on account". We do accept prepayment
and credit cards.

How do I place an order?
LSS offers two methods of online ordering: point and click interface
and express ordering.
The point and click interface is most commonly used when you don't know the LSS part number, you need to look at a photo or get more information on a
product, such as dimensions or other relevant data.
Enter any of the catalogs from the home page or the
Products button, located on the navigation toolbar at the top of
each page. Select a section and drill-down into the category until a list of products is
presented. To add an item to your shopping cart, simply
enter the quantity needed and click on the cart.
The point and click interface also works in tandem with our search
function. After initiating a search, click on the hyperlink to view more information on
the product or click on shopping cart icon to add it to your order.
Express ordering is used when you already know what the LSS product
numbers are. You may be using a LSS print catalog or are an experienced customer
who just knows the product numbers that you order on a regular basis.
Express ordering is available from the home page or can be used
in conjunction with the point and click method. It appears whenever you view the contents
of your shopping cart.
Simply enter the LSS product number you'd like to order including
dashes and suffixes for size/colors, type the quantity,
and click on the cart. It's that easy!
The check-out process is the same for both ordering methods. You'll be guided through
the checkout process with our clear, easy-to-use interface.

How do I look up past orders?
Any and all orders that you've placed online will be available in your order
history file. Once you've registered with LSS, your order history will
always be available to you right from the home page.

How do I return an order?
We know ordering on-line or from a catalog can be a little scary--you can't touch the
products or try them out. But with LSS's no restocking fee policy, you never
have to worry. If you decide a product isn't right for you, there's no extra charge for us
to simply put it back on our shelf. You can even initiate a
return, refund, or replacement online. Now that's peace of
mind.

How do I review my shopping cart?
At any time in the ordering or researching process, click on the shopping cart icon on
your top navigation toolbar. You'll be taken directly to your
shopping cart contents and will be able to remove, add, or
adjust quantities for any or all of the items listed.
You'll also be able to review the contents of your shopping cart whenever you add something
to it.

How do I manage my account and change my default settings?
Once you register with LSS, you'll never have to enter your billing and
shipping information again. To change any of your information, just click on the
Your Account link from our
home page.

How do I get my password if I've forgotten it?
If you've forgotten your password, it's no problem. Just go to our
password request page, enter your
e-mail address, and click Get Password. You can expect to receive your password in your
e-mailbox in a matter of minutes!
